I recently started a movement called Step Into Your Higher Self, and it is deeply personal to me because this past year has been one of the hardest seasons of my life.
I felt like my prayers were being ignored. Life felt like it was running me over from every direction. Motherhood, marriage, finances, my appearance, my weight. I was not living. I was surviving.
About a month ago, after a whirlwind of thoughts and tears, I reached a breaking point. I decided enough was enough. My life had to change.
I believe in the power of prayer, but prayer also requires participation. It requires honesty and a full body scan of your life, acknowledging what is weak, what has been neglected, and what needs healing. That is when I realized how much of this lives in the mind.
I began browsing Pinterest, looking at things I wanted for my life. I closed my eyes and tried to visualize myself having them, but it was incredibly difficult. Survival mode makes it hard to imagine anything beyond the present moment. That struggle showed me something important. Imagining the life you want is not always natural when you have been in survival for too long.
That is when it hit me. The distance between your present self and your higher self is not measured in miles or time. It is measured in thought process.
Instead of forcing visualization, I began scripting what a perfect day would look like if I were already living as my higher self. I started to notice how different her mindset was. She thought differently. She moved differently. She chose herself differently. I realized she was not far away. I just had not been living as her yet.
My favorite luxury brand has always been Chanel, but for years I have been walking around my home in oversized graphic T shirts. My higher self wears silk pajamas. She takes care of her appearance not out of vanity, but out of respect for the woman she is becoming. Her hair is done. Her nails are done. She is intentional about how she shows up in her own life.
I began imagining the atmosphere of the home I desire. The smells. The calm. The peace. The joy. Stepping into your higher self is not about pretending. It is about embodiment. It is about living now in alignment with the woman you are asking God to grow you into.
I have always dreamed of being a powerful, confident woman who radiates abundance and ease around money. That woman does not spend her time complaining about a life she refuses to change. She does not hold onto pain, outdated friendships, or habits that drain her spirit. She is intentional about what she consumes. She understands that constantly following baby mama influencers and watching their lives will never elevate her. If she wants to be a motivational speaker, she knows she needs to be listening to preachers, teachers, and motivational voices that sharpen her spirit and her message.
She understands that her voice matters. She does not speak with hesitation or fill her words with uncertainty. Confidence is not something she performs. It is something she earns through self work.
Stepping into your higher self requires a deep clean. Not just of your home, but of your environment, your thoughts, and what your eyes see daily. When you make those changes, something shifts. You begin to carry yourself differently, and your surroundings begin to respond.
As we approach 2026, I want everyone to experience their best year yet. I want to say this clearly. Changing your life is not as hard as we have been taught to believe. It only feels hard when we continue participating in the same habits that keep us stuck.
The larger visions we carry are built through small, intentional choices. This journey is emotional because it forces you to confront a hard truth. You were never powerless. Many times, you were the one holding yourself back.
Stepping into your higher self is a mirror. It reveals the wounds, the fears, and the parts of yourself you have buried. But it is also a deeply spiritually intimate experience.
It is not about praying for money. It is about asking God for the wisdom, discipline, clarity, and self awareness needed to steward abundance well. God created beauty. Travel. Art. Homes. Peace. Wanting these things is not wrong. It is about alignment, intention, and gratitude.
Stepping into your higher self means allowing what comes from above to flow through you so your life carries meaning. It means releasing what no longer serves you, returning to God, and committing to the inner work.
I am calling on everyone to step into their higher self and claim the life they deserve.
Because the distance between the life you have and the life you desire
is you.
